Jefferson Parish Schools TERRYTOWN ELEMENTARY in Terrytown, Louisiana seeks a Paraprofessional - Pre-K SPED to assist the instructional staff of students with disabilities. Immediate start, with duties spanning instructional and non-instructional support and collaboration with teachers.

The role requires an Associate Degree or 48 college hours, ParaPro Praxis plus high school diploma/equivalency, and the ability to work with diverse student needs.

• Ability to communicate clearly in standard English, orally and in writing.
• Ability to compile data, summarize information, and prepare reports for supervisor.
• Willingness to participate in paraeducator training and sign language if assigned.

• Provide instructional leadership when assisting substitutes and teachers.
