Job summary

Celebree School of Richmond at Willow Lawn is seeking a Pre-K Teacher who will create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment and embody Celebree's mission in every activity. You will support classroom Aides and help guide their growth toward becoming Celebree Teachers.

You will develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans, foster early literacy, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with families about progress and child growth.

Qualifications

• Must meet lead teacher requirements as approved by the State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for pre-K children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere supporting learning through play.
• Integrate language-rich activities and early literacy into daily routines.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment.
• Establish open communication with parents and share progress updates.
