TrulyHired in New York's Town of Florida district seeks a Teacher, Exceptional Student Education (ESE) to provide instruction in all areas of ESE within a classroom setting. You will design and implement Specially Designed Instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain confidential records while supporting student progress and safeguarding health and safety.

Strong collaboration with families and staff is essential.

Formación

• Experience designing and implementing IEPs.
• Ability to adapt instruction to students with disabilities.
• Strong collaboration with staff and families.
• Florida ESE certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and implements appropriate Specially Designed Instruction and supports per state standards.
• Develops IEP plans with goals and required services.
• Creates a positive educational climate for students with disabilities.
• Employs various teaching techniques to meet IEP goals.
• Observes and evaluates student performance and maintains records.
• Manages student behavior using evidence-based interventions.
• Communicates with parents and staff about progress.
• Attends trainings to build ESE knowledge and maintains certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
