Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Speak, read and write English fluently.
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Willing to supervise young children and follow district policies.
• Alternatives to the above may be considered by CSUSA.
• Commitment to company values and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up centers and materials for daily activities.
• Work individually or in small groups with students to review instruction and reading groups.
• Supervise outside playground activities and maintain classroom order.
• Help with general housekeeping tasks and clerical duties.
• Attend staff meetings and recommended trainings and conferences.
• Operate instructional equipment used in the classroom and follow directions from head teacher.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
