The School District of Philadelphia is seeking a full-time 26-27SY Teacher, Pre-4, on AB Day. This PFT-represented position offers a salary range currently $55,771 to $97,852 depending on education level and experience, with offer letter quoting the final amount after credential verification.

The teacher will plan and teach the early childhood subject area, align to standards, use technology and simulations, and assess students.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit.
Knowledge of state standards and performance levels; use of technology in instruction.
Ability to design differentiated instruction to meet students' needs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Assess students' skill levels and align classroom goals to standards.
Provide instruction in respective subject area and use technology in lessons.
Collaborate with staff across disciplines to integrate skills across the curriculum.
Maintain attendance, grades, and other required records.
Attend faculty meetings and manage classroom discipline.
