Mass General Brigham's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary seeks a research fellow to develop novel molecular therapies for IRDs. You will work under a Principal Investigator, conduct in vivo and in vitro experiments, and collaborate with a team of researchers.

Enrolled in an MD or PhD program with prior clinical research experience; the role emphasizes literature review, study design, and data presentation, with mentorship and opportunities to publish.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze and summarize published literature.
• Design and execute retrospective research studies.
• Assist in executing prospective research studies.
• Attend relevant meetings.
• Meet regularly with mentor to review project progress and milestones.
• Plan and deliver a seminar on the project.
• Take administrative (inventory, purchasing, etc.) responsibilities in the lab when necessary.
• Write a final report or submit a manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal describing the project and results.
