Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a Pre-Construction Supervisor for Waterloo, IN, to build and lead the Pre-Construction team across multiple locations. You will coordinate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and other teams to align customer solutions with commercial goals and drive timely, value-focused project development.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer satisfaction, and a proactive approach to budgeting, technical guidance, and constructability reviews to ensure high-quality project

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in Estimating, Pre-Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the Pre-Construction team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, expectations, and career development paths.
• Manage team workload, resource allocation, and performance to ensure exceptional customer support and responsiveness.
• Provide leadership and accountability for customer experience initiatives across project development, estimating, technical services, and customer support functions.
• Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and other functional teams to align Customer Solutions activities with commercial objectives.
• Drive a culture focused on Speed, Expertise, Reliability, Value, and Engagement in all customer interactions.
• Support early project engagement efforts by helping customers with budgeting, technical consultation, value engineering, constructability reviews, and project development.
• Drive continuous improvement in customer experience, value creation, and relationship growth through effective communication, responsiveness, and customer engagement.
• Assist the Sales Manager in leading commercial activities and providing leadership support as needed.

Basic Job Functions:
