Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with standard pre-construction software tools, including documents, spreadsheets, email, and estimating applications.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day pre-construction execution for assigned pursuits and projects, coordinating estimating, scheduling, design collaboration, and procurement input through final pricing.
• Develops and manages conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates with complete scope, quantities, pricing, and alignment to pursuit objectives.
• Prepares conceptual budgets and analyses to support pursuit positioning and customer discussions.
• Coordinates with Gray operations, design management, procurement, and scheduling teams to support constructability and logistics planning.
• Engages with customers, designers, trade partners, and vendors to clarify scope and validate assumptions.
• Analyzes vendor proposals to confirm scope and identify gaps or risks for defensible pricing.
• Identifies risks and cost drivers, escalating issues to senior pre-construction leadership.
• Leads and coordinates pre-construction staff, providing direction and coaching to improve performance.
• Applies pre-construction tools, benchmarks, and best practices for consistency across the team.
