The Surgery Center of Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Admission Testing (PAT). You will conduct preoperative assessments, review records, and coordinate surgical clearances to ensure safe patient readiness for procedures.

Ideal candidates have an active Colorado RN license, PACU/ICU or perioperative nursing experience, and strong assessment and education skills. Monday–Friday shifts; no overnights. BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in Colorado.
• Pre Admission Testing (PAT) experience strongly preferred.
• ICU, Critical Care, PreOp, PACU, or perioperative nursing experience highly preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and patient interviews.
• Review medical records, labs, EKGs, and diagnostic results for surgical readiness.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and referring physicians regarding patient clearance needs.
• Educate patients on surgery preparation, medication management, and postoperative expectations.
• Identify potential clinical risks and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate findings to the care team.

The Surgery Center of Highlands Ranch is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) to join our growing perioperative team. This role is responsible for conducting preoperative patient assessments, reviewing medical histories and diagnostic testing, coordinating surgical clearances, and ensuring patients are safely prepared for surgery.

An experienced RN who enjoys patient assessment, surgical readiness screening, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering exceptional perioperative care.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and patient interviews.
