Position Summary:

As a Pre-4 Aide, you will assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to an approved curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

  1. Assist Lead Teacher in the education, safety, and wellbeing of a classroom of 18 children.
  2. Take on interchanging roles with Lead Teacher throughout the day as the class moves through the curriculum from one activity to the next.
  3. Assist in providing 6.5 hours of instructional time. This position is year-round.
  4. Attend Annual Professional Development Training as required by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
  • Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other required training.
  • Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a CDA, TCC, two-year ECE, or a Bachelor's degree in any field.

Compensation: $8 - $12/hour
