Prada Group is seeking a skilled tailor to support in-store alterations and precision repairs, delivering exceptional craftsmanship. The role emphasizes attention to detail, time management, and collaboration with sales staff to ensure perfect fittings.

Ideal candidates have completed tailor training, fashion sector experience (women’s and men’s), and strong English; other languages are a plus. The position offers a creative, international environment in a luxury retail setting.

• Routine handling of sewing machines and manual sewing

Responsabilidades

• Be responsible for alteration/tailoring inside the store and ensure repairs are performed on time and to a high standard
• Provide qualified customer consultation and support for individual change requests
• Assist with customer fittings in collaboration with the Sales Assistant
• Procure materials and maintain tailoring tools and equipment
• Coordinate with external service providers (laundry, knitwear factories, tailors) as needed

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the correct and accurate realization of repairs. To contribute to the success of the sales realizing complex and extremely precise interventions, relying on high level of craftsmanship, knowledge and experience on materials and tailoring techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for the alteration/tailoring inside the store and e nsure to carry out the repairs within the timing foreseen and the high quality standard.
• Ensure qualified customer consultation and support with regard to individual change requests.
• Together with the Sales Assistant takes care about the customer fitting.
• Ensure the procurement of all the material necessary for the tailoring and the maintenance of all tailoring tools.
• Manage product handling between the Store and all the external service providers (laundry, knitwear factories, external tailor’s labs, etc.).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Completed training as a tailor

Relevant professional experience in women’s and men's fashion sector

Routine handling of sewing machines and manual sewing

Enthusiasm for fashion, trends and textiles

Care, accuracy and independent work

Reliability, organizational skills and time management

English is a must other languages are a plus
