Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking a Practice Supervisor to oversee the Medical Oncology department. The role supervises 5 to 30 Caregivers and partners with practice management to run day-to-day operations.

You will lead scheduling, budgets, training, orientation, and recruitment while fostering a patient-centered, team-focused culture and adherence to Intermountain Fundamentals of Care.

Job Description:

The Practice Supervisor works in conjunction with practice management to supervise the day-to-day functions of the department(s) or clinic(s). This position typically supervises 5 to 30 Caregivers.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership, personal and professional ethics, and an ability to inspire and motivate others required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field
• Previous leadership experience preferably in an ambulatory outpatient clinic environment.
• Experience developing relationships with physicians.
• Proven dynamic leader that can gain trust and respect of physicians, staff, and peers.

Physical Requirements

• Ongoing need for employees to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, able to assess customer needs.
• Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoke information, needs and issues quickly and accurately.
• Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
