Job Summary

Veterinary Practice Manager at Banfield Pet Hospital. Your practice‑management skills drive business results and your people‑leadership skills develop associates and foster an engaging team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care.
  • Interview, hire, develop, and evaluate associates.
  • Educate associates on Banfield guidelines, preventive care, and pet health needs.
  • Develop and maintain the hospital budget and plan activities.
  • Coordinate scheduling, time‑off requests, and continuing education needs.
  • Monitor hospital processes, progress, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary medical team, field leadership, corporate headquarters, and PetSmart® associates (when applicable).
  • Provide leadership and analytical support to the Chief of Staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience acceptable.
  • Minimum three years related experience in healthcare, veterinary profession, or service industry with direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem‑solving ability, conflict‑management experience, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical know‑how.
Benefits and Compensation

Salary range: $60,630.99 – $77,578.10 (dependent on experience, skill level, education, and geographic location). Pay rates for salaried positions may differ by schedule worked.
