AdventHealth Calhoun, GA is seeking a licensed pharmacist in a leadership role with a PharmD and residency experience. The position oversees drug review quality, formulary additions, and committee agendas while supporting residents and ensuring patient safety.

A strong compliance mindset and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams are required, with day shift and on-site duties at 1035 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701.

Qualifications

• Doctorate PharmD is required.
• Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) required.
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees drug review quality and formulary addition requests.
• Sets meeting agendas for committees.
• Participates in committees and timelines.
• Updates stakeholders on project statuses.
• Assists Residency Program Director and supports residents.
• Provides input on pharmacist evaluations.
• Chairs Medication Safety Committee and upholds patient confidentiality.
• Maintains ethical standards and patient safety.
• Executes other duties as assigned.

• Oversees drug review quality and timely formulary addition requests on the P & T committee.
• Sets meeting agendas and ensures relevant topics are covered.
• Participates in additional committees and meets obligations and timelines.
• Updates the \"customer\" on project statuses and timelines.
• Assists the Director with action plans for various surveys and questionnaires.
• Supports pharmacy residents by aiding the Residency Program Director and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Provides input on pharmacist evaluations as requested.
• Chairs the Medication Safety Committee, ensuring best practices and setting agendas.
• Maintains patient and business confidentiality.
• Upholds a positive image of the Medical Center and demonstrates ethical behavior.
• Prioritizes patient safety in all actions and decisions.
• Ensures medication use process integrity through periodic assessments.
• Other duties as assigned.
