Job Location: Tattnall Counseling Center - Reidsville, GA 30453, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School / GED, Job Shift: Morning, Job Summary: The Practice Manager works collaboratively with physicians, program managers, clinical leadership, and administrative staff to ensure the efficient, compliant, and customer-focused operation of multiple behavioral health and substance use disorder service locations. This position oversees operational workflows, practice management functions, staffing coordination, quality improvement initiatives, financial performance monitoring, provider support activities, and operational analytics. The Practice Manager supports implementation of organizational strategies through data analysis, performance improvement initiatives, operational oversight, and continuous evaluation of clinic services.

Essential Functions
  • Works closely with program managers, physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative staff to ensure effective operations across multiple behavioral health service locations.
  • Collaborates with providers and staff to maintain practice efficiency, service quality, consumer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
  • Supports organizational business strategies through analysis and interpretation of operational and performance data.
  • Maintains continuity of operations by identifying operational needs, documenting processes, monitoring workflows, and communicating recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensures policies, procedures, workflows, and regulatory requirements are followed consistently.
  • Coordinates administrative and operational support functions for clinical programs.
  • Works closely with prescribing staff to coordinate operational aspects of medical and psychiatric services.
  • Provides orientation and training support for providers regarding operational systems, electronic health records, and organizational procedures.
  • Develops and facilitates operational and workflow training for staff.
  • Assists leadership in identifying training needs and developing educational programs to improve performance.
  • Evaluates operational procedures and training effectiveness and implements necessary improvements.
  • Supports achievement of organizational goals through ongoing monitoring and process improvement efforts.
  • Monitors staffing levels, schedules, productivity, patient flow, and operational performance indicators.
  • Supports clinic revenue growth, efficiency initiatives, and resource management efforts.
  • Maintains knowledge of reimbursement processes, insurance requirements, authorizations, and payer regulations.
  • Provides guidance and communication regarding reimbursement and operational changes affecting staff and providers.
  • Monitors financial, operational, and quality performance indicators and addresses identified variances.
  • Coordinates workflow improvements to optimize consumer access, engagement, and service delivery.
  • Participates in quality improvement projects and compliance monitoring activities.

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Human Services, or a related field; OR
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with significant progressively responsible experience in healthcare practice management, clinic operations, or medical office administration.
  • Experience managing healthcare, behavioral health, or medical practice operations preferred.
  • Experience with insurance reimbursement, operational analytics, and quality improvement initiatives preferred.

Work Environment:
