Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of office experience required.
  • Proficiency with Office Suite and related office procedures.
  • Ability to manage routine inquiries and multi-task in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine administrative and clerical duties for a clinical service or physician practice.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments; greet and assist patients.
  • Handle phone calls and field routine inquiries; process billing forms and scan documents.
  • Liaise for patient records, test results, and prior authorizations.
  • Serve as Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems.

Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
