Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing Education or currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Nursing Education program.
New York State Certified Registered Nurse.
Successful teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop lesson plans, activities, and organize class time to actively engage students.
Update the curriculum including activities, assessments, and clinical objectives.
Assist students in interpreting patients' prescribed therapeutic regimes.
Maintain appropriate records and student evaluations.
Confer with students regarding progress in the program.
Participate in ongoing staff development activities.
Provide a sound educational environment for student engagement.
Use technology effectively for instruction and communication.
Identify pupil needs and cooperate with other professional staff.
