Job summary

The role requires effective communication and adherence to templates and accreditation standards. Teaching may span face-to-face, hybrid, or online modalities, with potential travel between OTC locations.

Qualifications

• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Three years experience working or teaching in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a weekly planner for learning activities aligned with Student Learning Outcomes for each course.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication in course content.
• Review and finalize the course syllabus using templates.
• Review and finalize the Blackboard LMS course to support student learning.
• Evaluate students' progress toward Student Learning Outcomes.
• Submit required documentation such as final grades and attendance on time.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.
• Establish a classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
• Advise students on academic and occupational curricula.
• Assess student and program outcomes.
• Participate in program recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities.
• Assist in budgeting for instructional equipment and supplies.
• Participate in committee and department projects.
• Pursue professional development to enhance instructional skills.
