Initial review begins June 9, 2026, with open position until filled. The instructor will oversee didactic, lab, simulation, online, and clinical instruction, including course development, assessment, and student mentoring to support NCLEX-PN

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited institution.
• A minimum of two calendar years, or equivalent full-time experience, of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in North Carolina or multistate licensure privilege.
• Current knowledge of nursing practice applicable to Licensed Practical Nursing education.
• Experience teaching in academic, clinical, continuing education, in-service, or related instructional settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and deliver instruction in assigned Practical Nursing courses in accordance with approved curriculum standards, departmental guidelines, program outcomes, and North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements.
• Provide didactic, laboratory, simulation, online, and supervised clinical instruction.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, clinical assignments, and learning activities aligned with student learning outcomes and program requirements.
• Integrate evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, patient safety, quality improvement, ethical-legal principles, and professional nursing standards into instruction.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technologies to support diverse learning styles, including face-to-face, hybrid, online, laboratory, simulation, and clinical learning environments.
