Job summary

ECPI University is seeking nursing educators to teach in the Manassas, VA campus. The role focuses on sharing industry experience in classroom settings or with clinical partners.

Classes run for five weeks with small groups to maximize hands-on learning. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of recent nursing practice, a strong academic record, and an ability to mentor students toward successful outcomes in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, or Geriatrics.

Job description

Good Faith Pay Range: In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith hourly pay range for this position is $37.75 – $45.25 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.

Qualifications

Education/Credentials (Virginia campuses):

• Bachelors degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited educational institution required
• Masters degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited educational institution preferred
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed

Experience

• 3-5 years of recent work as a nurse within the past 10 years
• Previous experience in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, or Critical Care departments
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred
