Job summary
Charlotte County Public Schools invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor - Practical Nursing in Port Charlotte, FL. This part-time position requires RN licensure in Florida with clinical experience and a valid teaching credential or CCPS alternative pathway.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN license in Florida with a minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Florida teaching certification or CCPS Non-degreed Vocational pathway acceptable contingent on education/experience.
- Meet clinical affiliates' requirements including immunizations and TB screenings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or appropriate certification.
- Follow rules and procedures set by State Board of Education and CCPS.
- Prepare and submit accurate records and reports as required.
- Support the student learning plan and uphold school policies.
- Maintain a safe, orderly classroom conducive to learning.
- Instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans and show evidence of preparation.
