Job summary

You’ll work on real projects that support safety-focused decisions and gain hands-on experience with codes, standards, and field data collection. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, apply classroom knowledge to industry challenges, and develop communication and teamwork skills while contributing to meaningful energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Graduation date between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Available to start between May 2027 and Jun 2027.
• Strong foundation in core concepts for major.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel and to work at client sites.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to navigate client sites for walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply codes and standards for designing projects.
• Be organized and efficient; meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection; adapt to new software.
• Ask questions and use available resources.
