Job summary

Tyndale House Publishers in Carol Stream, IL, is seeking an energetic Public Relations & Marketing Assistant to support our PR and marketing teams. The role requires coordinating multiple projects, assisting with press materials, and handling promotions across books and authors.

The position is in-house, full-time, and offers an hourly salary range of $21–$25. The successful candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and aligned with our faith-based mission.

Qualifications

• College degree and 1+ years of experience in Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills, with high attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow through
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel spreadsheets and budget tracking. Canva experience a plus
• A self-starter who can juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor, with a collaborative spirit and a servant's attitude
• Written Spanish language proficiency a plus, but not required
• Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God's Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Provide support and administrative assistance to the PR team as needed. This will include coordinating eblasts, assist in writing press releases and other media materials, tracking media hits, handling mailings, media research, social media coordination and other tasks as needed
• Coordinate seasonal marketing operations and promotions, including sale-season spreadsheets and monthly eBook promotions for the marketing team
• Complete mailings and distribution of ARCs (advance reader copies), finished books, and promotional items
• Maintain accurate title data in the department's publishing database
• Provide general administrative support, including processing invoices, managing subscriptions, and coordinating projects as needed
