Job summary

MOR PPM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Planner for a role in Bennettsville, SC. You will serve as a project planner and technical resource for developing job plans, inputting project data, and maintaining current tracking data on a major Capital project.

Responsibilities include creating detailed planning data, cost tracking, and assisting the project team with various facets of the project. Outage scheduling and supervision duties may be required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of scheduling experience on projects.
  • CPM scheduling knowledge required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to plan/outage schedules using MS Project or Excel.
  • Experience with Micro Planner is a plus.
  • Strong listening and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update detailed project and equipment planning data on MS Project or Excel.
  • Maintain detailed project cost tracking for labor, materials, subcontractors, etc.
  • Assist in investigating equipment failures and resolve issues.
  • Stand-in for departmental vacancies.
  • Supervise hourly IE workforce and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc is seeking an experienced Industrial Planner in Bennettsville, SC.

Serve as a project planner and technical resource for developing job plans, inputting project data, maintaining current tracking data, and assisting Project team with other facets of a major Capital project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create and update detailed project and equipment planning data on Microsoft Project or Excel.
  • Keep detailed project cost tracking for labor, materials, subcontractors, etc.
  • Assist in investigating equipment failures and resolve issues.
  • Stand-in for departmental vacancies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including supervision of hourly IE workforce.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on scheduling of projects

  • Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and update outage schedules on MS Project or Excel
  • Micro Project, Excel and Word experience
  • Strong communication skills oral, written and listening
  • Able to communicate with others in a professional, concise manner
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of electrical systems
Working Environment & Physical Demands
  • Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
  • Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
  • Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
  • Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
  • Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
  • The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
  • Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
