Job summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking qualified outage workers located in Hallam, Nebraska.

The Millwright role involves alignment on turbines, reading drawings, disassembly and repair of pumps, drives and large mechanical devices, and troubleshooting in a fossil power plant setting. Ideal candidates have at least five years in the discipline, OSHA rigging knowledge, and the ability to follow written procedures for complex maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take critical measurements with high degree of skill, accuracy, and speed.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in this discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of power plant maintenance or construction work experience including two (2) years of commercial operating fossil power plant experience is desired.
• Millwright shall be familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals.
• Individuals must possess the knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant millwright maintenance.

Experience & Skills:

• This skilled person is used for the turbine work, valve work, diesel maintenance and the alignment of other critical equipment and shall have
• a minimum of five (5) years of experience in this discipline.
• A minimum of five (5) years of power plant maintenance or construction work experience including
• two (2) years of commercial operating fossil power plant experience is desired.
• Millwright shall be familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals.
• Individuals must possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant millwright type maintenance.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas Must have full range of motion consistent
  with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
