Job summary

MOR PPM, Inc. in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to perform daily PMs, run conduit, troubleshoot, and terminate equipment across plant facilities.

This role focuses on electrical maintenance within a heavy industrial environment. Qualified candidates will have at least six years of relevant experience, the ability to read wiring schematics, and be comfortable working onsite in SC with safety-conscious practices and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance electrical work plant-wide.

Will perform daily PM’s, run conduit, troubleshoot, terminate, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance electrical work mill wide
• Read and understand wiring schematic
• Troubleshoot faulted circuits and equipment
• Run conduit of all types and sizes
• Terminate motors, panels, etc
• Follow daily instruction and work orders assigned

Qualifications

• At least 6-years experience as industrial maintenance electrician
• Combination of technical training and experience will be considered

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
