We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.

Job Summary MOR PPM Inc. is seeking craft plant support in Catawba, SC.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Mechanical aptitude to perform equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Adjust equipment setting to optimize the separation process.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to your discretion.
  • Able to operate the equipment for disposal of material.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to notice the change in the effluent and material and what to do with that change.
  • Able to report on issues or changes throughout the day.
  • Knowledge of how valves operate.
Qualifications

Physical Demands
  • Occasional lifting of items weighing a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
  • Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
  • Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
  • Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
  • Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
  • The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
  • Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
