This role involves disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding Caterpillar powertrain components. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Caterpillar systems, relevant hands-on experience, and a high school diploma. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble Caterpillar powertrain components.
• Perform failure analysis and provide detailed reporting.
• Test transmissions on a dynamometer.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Caterpillar powertrain systems

Hands-on experience with failure analysis

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals

Familiarity with dynamometer testing
