Job summary

Archer is an aerospace company in San Jose, CA, offering a 10-week summer internship in Technical Operations. Based at Archer’s headquarters, this full-time internship provides exposure to Powertrain operations, CAD design, and process documentation as we scale production.

The candidate will support day-to-day engineering and operations, document workflows, analyze data for bottlenecks, help with inventory and tooling, and manage small end-to-end projects. May require relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on, fast-moving environment experience.
• Strong problem-solving and action bias.
• Ability to document tribal knowledge clearly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, NX, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and operations to keep day-to-day execution moving.
• Document processes, create work instructions, and improve workflows.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and quality issues.
• Assist with inventory tracking, tooling organization, and material flow.
• Own small projects end-to-end from problem definition to implementation.
• Jump in where needed!
