Job summary

Brightwing seeks a Calibration Engineer for our automotive client in Michigan. You will apply your 3+ years of experience and a BS in engineering to develop, test, and calibrate control systems for electrified powertrains.

• 3+ years of experience

• Action a disciplined test plan and verification process to ensure quality calibrations are released.
• Exhibit strong leadership presence by engaging management as necessary to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• 0-10% travel
• Driving a company vehicle is required

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of Calibration tools INCA, MDA, PowerCal, CRETA, CANAlyzer and CANoe
• Experience with electrified powertrain (BEV or Hybrid) calibration or embedded controls
• Knowledge of control system development tools such as Matlab Simulink
• Experience in Powertrain Control solutions development (powertrain control algorithms, On-board Diagnostics/OBD, embedded software)
• DFSS Green Belt Certification with understanding of optimization and design of experiments
