Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an ORV Mechanic for an engineering and vehicle testing facility in Wyoming, MN. You will inspect, repair, refurbish ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles, and prepare vehicles for sale while maintaining accurate records.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years of powersports or heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate forklifts. The position offers weekly pay and potential temp-to-hire opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanic/technician experience in powersports, automotive, or heavy equipment environments.
• Strong diagnostic and major component repair experience.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to lift and work with heavy components in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, and refurbishment of off-road vehicles.
• Diagnose issues and replace major components, including engines, drivetrains, frames, and electrical systems.
• Prepare vehicles for sale through servicing, updates, and quality inspections.
• Process vehicles for scrap, including fluid draining, battery removal, and teardown activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using desktop systems, tablets, and Excel.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move vehicles and components.
• Support inventory organization, facility operations, and track/trail maintenance.
