Job summary

Team Mancuso Powersports South in La Marque, TX is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Powersports Technician to join our high-volume service team. You will learn under a Master Technician mentor, perform maintenance, and help diagnose and repair powersports vehicles.

You will gain hands-on training, complete MPI inspections, install accessories, and deliver units in better condition. A completed accredited motorcycle/auto program and a valid motorcycle license are preferred; tools must be owned

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Motorcycle, Marine, or Automotive program.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Must own or acquire a complete set of tools within 60 days of hire.
Valid motorcycle license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Work under a Mentor to learn dealership operations and training.
Perform repairs and maintenance per the repair order.
Learn to diagnose, install accessories, and perform repairs.
Conduct MPI inspections and report results.
Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure accurate work orders.
Maintain shop cleanliness and professionalism per company standards.
Obtain OEM training and certifications as offered.
Deliver units in better shape than they arrived.
Support customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work.

Summary

Team Mancuso Powersports Southis looking for a motivatedApprenticePowersports Technicianto join our fast-paced, high-volume service team. If you have a desire to become a Powersports technician, take pride in your work, and want to be part of the growing Powersports Group — we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

The apprentice technician is assigned a 'Mentor,' usually a Master Technician, to assist him/her in acclimating to dealership operations in addition to sharing the Mentor's technical knowledge and one‑on‑one training. They will be assisting the apprentice as necessary.
Perform work as outlined on the repair order.
Learn to perform maintenance, install accessories, and diagnose/perform repairs.
Examine the vehicle performing a multi‑point inspection (MPI) and video highlighting the results of the inspection.
Recommending additional service work if found during the MPI.
Call upon your Mentor or Service Managerwhen you have a question or need assistance.
Collaborate with Service Advisorsto ensure smooth communication and accurate work orders.
Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and professionalism to the Sonic Pride and Risk Management standards.
Obtain OEM training and certifications — we invest in keeping you sharp
Deliver every unit in better shape than it arrived
Help maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are done right the first time
Completion of an accredited Motorcycle, Marine, or Automotive program (UTI/MMI as examples)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Must own or acquire a complete set of tools within 60 days of hire
Valid motorcycle license required for test rides,good driving record, and ability to pass pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug test, MVR)
Must be authorized to work in the USA
