You will partner closely with Program Managers, developers, and Navy stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve processes, implement secure coding practices, and modernize scripts to maximize execution speed, resource efficiency, and system resilience.

You understand that automation engineers and data scientists are central to mission success driving efficiency, integrating data sources, improvingdecision‑making, and ensuring systems scale securely. You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with data science or advance analytics with the Department of War (DoW)
• 10+ years ofexperiencedevelopingPowerShellsolutions, including advanced scripting, modularization, refactoring, and secure automation practices
• Experienceprocessinglarge‑scale datasets,optimizingdata pipelines, and applying structured analytics to mission‑critical workflows
• Experiencebuilding,maintaining, and validating scripts usingPester, including test design, mocking, and continuous integration of script tests
• Experience implementingsecure coding practices,role‑basedaccess controls, andcompliance‑alignedautomation
• Experience supportingAgile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and cross‑functional technical collaboration
• Abilitytomodernize legacy scripts,such asimprovingperformance, reducingresource overhead, and buildingscalable automation frameworks
• Ability to design and implementdata‑driventools, automation dashboards, and workflow improvements across enterprise environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
