PaperWorks US is seeking a Powered Truck Operator for our NY warehousing team. You will safely operate powered industrial trucks, receive, ship, and store materials, and maintain inventory accuracy across shifts.

Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and accurate order fulfillment. The role requires PIT experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to a clean, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of PIT experience.
• 6–12 months accident-free experience.
• Able to read and interpret information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds

Responsabilités

• Safely operate all PITs per PaperWorks rules.
• Handle raw materials, WIP, and finished goods with forklifts and reach trucks.
• Load and unload trucks promptly and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols for a secure workplace.
• Perform routine PIT inspections and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production and shipping goals.
• Move materials within the facility and stage them as needed.
• Maintain inventory movement accuracy and use bar code readers.

Summary

PAY:

$19/hr- $23/hr

Responsibilities

The Powered Truck Operator (PTO) is responsible for receiving, shipping, material handling, and order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a multi-shift, multi-site warehouse operation.

• Safely operate all powered industrial trucks (PITs) in accordance with PaperWorks' rules and regulations.
• Handle raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods with precision and efficiency using forklifts, reach trucks, and double reach trucks.
• Load and unload trucks in a timely and organized manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on PITs to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production and shipping goals.
• Operates battery-operated equipment for a variety of purposes including
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Transporting material within the facility
• Storing and staging material
• Equipment operated includes, but is not limited to, fork lift trucks, roll clamp trucks, various motorized pallet trucks.
• Ensures all product is stacked neatly and safely when stored or delivered to location.
• Maintains accuracy of all inventory movement at all times.
• Insures inventory accuracy by proper completion of all required forms and by proper utilization of bar code readers
• Maintains Warehouse organization and housekeeping.
• Responsible for operating within policies & procedures, and maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and SafeStart practices
• Performs and documents required pre-trip inspections and reports any deficiencies.
• Establishes, maintains and promotes high standards of customer service.
• Keeps equipment operating safely with proper use and in accordance with operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and managing preventive maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of PIT experience.
• Minimum of 6 – 12 months’ accident-free experience.
• Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
