Performs daily inspections of power truck before operating.
Receives, verifies, and processes inbound/outbound loads.
Sorts, palletizes, bands, and stretch-films loads.
Transports material safely and efficiently.
Loads and unloads trailers manually and with equipment.
Records inventory transactions using bar code scanners.
Performs material handling duties and repalletizes spilled loads.
Maintains inventory with bar code scanner.
Assists in preparing products for shipment.
Counts material and completes shipping documentation.
Maintains charging of batteries for forklifts and scanners.
Delivers inbound materials as required.
Operates forklift safely to prevent damage.
Conducts safety audits with shift supervisor.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Performs other assigned duties.

Responsibilities
Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA/TOSHA regulations.
Performs daily inspections of power truck before operating truck and reports any issues immediately shift supervisor.
Receives, verifies, and processes through the hand held scanner any inbound/outbound loads.
Sorts by hand, palletizes, bands and stretch-films for inbound/outbound pallet loads.
Transports material in a safe and efficient manner from one location to another.
Loads and unloads trailers and trains manually and/or with power truck equipment.
Records inventory transactions by the use of a hand held bar code scanner or any other method that is required.
Performs material handling duties to include selection of material and repalletized of spilled loads.
Maintains inventory by selecting, shipping or locating material with bar code scanner.
Assists in the preparation of locating material to be shipped to include the labeling of product and staging of products for shipment.
Accurately counts material and fills out paperwork to ensure each load has the proper documentation necessary for shipment.
Maintains the charging and changing of batteries for forklifts, hand held scanners, printer labels and printer ribbons.
Delivers or locates inbound materials as required.
Operates forklift and handles material in a safe manner at all times to prevent damage to material.
Conducts daily and weekly safety audits of area with shift supervisor.
