Job summary

Dynapower, a Sensata Technologies company, seeks a Transformer Winding Technician in South Burlington, VT. You’ll work in a manufacturing setting winding transformers, assembling insulation, and performing quality checks while following engineering prints.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hands-on winding experience, and MIG welding ability. The role offers a $20–$30 hourly wage, a $2000 signing bonus, and a benefits package available from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transformer winding experience strongly preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• MIG welding experience required.
• Gas brazing and soldering copper experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare winding forms and gather materials like insulation, copper tubing, and strapping.
• Set up winding/tensioning equipment.
• Wind up to 6 conductors onto the winding mold or block per the engineering prints and install insulating materials.
• Perform quality checks of the finished product before it moves to the next area.
• Put safety first, all day every day.
