Figure is seeking a Power Systems Integration Intern for Fall 2026 in San Jose, CA. You will own end-to-end integration of power systems for humanoid robots, bridging hardware, firmware, thermals, controls, and use cases to ensure safe, reliable, and high-performance operation.

Responsibilities include measuring power bus performance, expanding performance envelopes, and collaborating with engineering teams to validate software on robotic hardware.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Senior) or recent graduate in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Minimum 10-week internship availability; 1-2 terms preferred.
• Strong understanding of Battery design and operation considerations.
• Strong proficiency with the Linux operating system and embedded systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct measurements to characterize power bus performance.
• Develop methods to expand performance envelope with cross-functional impact in mind.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate software on robotic hardware.
• Debug embedded systems using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Troubleshoot system-level integration issues and document root causes.
