Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a Full-Stack Microsoft Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to design, build, and support power systems-related business applications. You will contribute across front-end and back-end development in an Agile team and use AI-assisted tools to improve delivery.

The role requires Angular, .NET/C#, SQL Server, Telerik Reporting, RESTful APIs, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of professional software development experience building production web applications and backend services.
• Proficient with Angular (v12+) including component architecture, RxJS, Angular Material, routing, and state management.
• Proficient with .NET/C# and SQL for backend development and API design.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end Angular with backend services.
• Experience developing and maintaining operational and analytical reports using Telerik.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into user stories.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent; AI tools knowledge a plus; energy utility knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive front-end applications using Angular and modern component-based patterns.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET/C#, SQL Server, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain operational and analytical reports using Telerik Reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical leads to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement stable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep delivery aligned, unblock issues quickly, and meet project milestones.
• Use AI tools responsibly for code assistance, diagnostics, research, and productivity.
• Contribute to documentation, coding standards, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.
