Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to service electric power generation and industrial engines in the Clarksburg area. The role requires diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines, generator sets, and related switchgear on-site or in field settings.

You will work with customers in the oil and gas sector, often after hours, and participate in safety trainings. A technical background and CDL are required for this essential field position.

Qualifications

• Requires a commercial driver's license and passing a physical.
• Experience with diesel and natural gas engines and generator sets.
• Able to work after hours and weekends to meet customer timelines.
• Graduate from technical or military school or have equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair prime power and standby electrical power installations.
• Work with start/stop controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control wiring.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines.
• Perform work on generators and components in various environments.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Accurately complete service reports and update work orders.
• Meet the DOT physical examination and licensing requirements.
• Work overtime as required.
