Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Fontana, CA, is seeking an Estimation Engineer to support the engineering department. Responsibilities include preparing cost proposals for control enclosure manufacturing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of related experience. A comprehensive benefit package will be offered including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) matching contribution.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in estimating or engineering.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost proposals for relay panels and control enclosure projects.
• Coordinate with customers for specification/design questions.
• Design and draw select fabrication and assembly drawings.

Skills

Ability to read Mechanical and Electrical drawings

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong critical thinking skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
