Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Design and analyze power systems, including transmission, distribution, and protective relaying schemes.
  • Provide expert solutions to technical inquiries from operations and the quotation team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for transformer field repair and testing.
  • Coach and guide less experienced colleagues.
  • Complete studies and reports with precision.
  • Perform electrical field plot analysis and assess non-OEM replacement components.
  • Participate in root cause analysis studies and create repair scope of work procedures.
  • Communicate project status and assist with planning and scheduling.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with five or more years of experience, or a combination of studies and ten years or more of transformer experience.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Experience in design and execution, working as an electrical engineer with transformers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, and NEMA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and AutoCAD.
  • Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
  • Up to 20% travel required.
