At Teradata, we believe that people thrive when empowered with better information. That’s why we built the most complete cloud analytics and data platform for AI. By delivering harmonized data, trusted AI, and faster innovation, we uplift and empower our customers—and our customers’ customers—to make better, more confident decisions. The world’s top companies across every major industry trust Teradata to improve business performance, enrich customer experiences, and fully integrate data across the enterprise.
Define and lead system-level power architecture across global datacenter environments, including single- and three-phase systems, regional voltage/frequency variants, and enterprise redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N).
You will own the global power subsystem strategy — from architecture and regulatory compliance through manufacturing readiness and customer deployment — establishing the design philosophy and validation standards that govern how Teradata platforms operate worldwide.
Operating across power, thermal, compute, storage, networking, and firmware domains, you will ensure resilient, compliant, and high-density platform performance at scale. This is a highly visible technical leadership role requiring architectural authority, cross-functional influence, and executive-level communication.
While power architecture is primary, this is a broad system-level engineering role involving new component qualification, engineering change orders, factory support, automation development, and cross-functional platform integration. This is not a narrow component-level position; power expertise anchors broader platform ownership.
Partner with product, hardware, and systems teams to scope, prototype, and productionize platform enhancements.
Required Technical Skills:
