Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Power Surgical Equipment Technician I in Ohio. The role focuses on repairing surgical medical equipment/instruments within an assigned modality, with responsibilities for inspection, testing, disassembly/reassembly, and documentation of all services.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of repair experience, and the ability to handle physical tasks and use various tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience with repairs.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop regularly.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to use computer devices and systems as needed.
• Experience with grinding wheels, soldering irons, sand blasters, and other hand tools.
• Flexibility in work schedule to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, and test equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment and instruments and repair as needed, including replacing defective parts.
• Document all services and testing performed, including parts used.
• Maintain work area to meet Visual Workplace standards.
• Handle timecard and time off entry, review and submission.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.
