Job summary

Crown Technical Systems in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Door Assembler to build fabricated metal doors for substation building enclosures according to specifications. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will assemble parts and support the production line.

Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. A typical day includes reviewing blueprints, using drills, grinders and hand tools, performing quality checks, tracking inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean workstation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of related experience in assembly or manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
Reading comprehension to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Basic math skills to meet technical specifications.
Basic understanding of tools and safe operation of powered equipment.
Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection).
Ability to safely operate forklift, reach truck, scissors lift or overhead crane when required.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies.
Use power tools and hand tools to accomplish tasks and assemble fabricated metal parts.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
Identify product defects and report them accordingly.
Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and parts at the workstation.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform other duties as assigned.
