Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Mt. Storm Power Station. This internship provides students with hands-on experience in a power generation environment while collaborating with professionals across multiple areas.

The intern will assist with inspections, data collection/analysis, and contribute to reliability and performance initiatives, under station guidance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Graduation date Spring 2028 or later.
• GPA of 2.5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment inspections and data collection/analysis.
• Support project research and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to station reliability and performance efforts.
• Observe, participate in day-to-day plant activities and team meetings.
• Work under guidance to learn power generation processes and safety practices.
