Job summary
Husky Terminal is seeking an IAM Union Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment and vehicles. Proficiency with diesel, gas, and propane engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics is required; PLC programming and RTLS installation experience are a plus.
Must be IAM union member and hold EPA cards with field tools. The role involves working under demanding conditions, reading schematics, and coordinating with the Director of
Qualifications
- Electrical experience is required.
- Must be a member of the IAM Union per bargaining agreement.
- EPA cards and field related tools are required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Removal/Replacement/Troubleshooting of diesel, gas and propane engines
- Removal/Replacement/Troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical and brake systems
- Removal/Replacement/Troubleshooting of transmissions, differentials, and suspension systems
- Removal/Replacement/Repair of tires for all vehicles and heavy equipment
- Removal/Replacement/Troubleshooting of diagnostic systems
- Experience programming PLCs
- Experience installing RTLS (Wherenet) preferred
- Experience working on crane electrical and high voltage
