Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support the development, implementation, and improvement of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The role offers hands-on experience in application development, automation, BI, AI, and low-code design.

You will work with stakeholders and technical teams to build solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making, while gaining experience across North American energy delivery efforts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related degree program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.
• Basic understanding of data concepts, business processes, or application development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing Power Apps solutions (canvas and model-driven).
• Support workflow automation using Power Automate to streamline processes.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations with Power BI.
• Explore Power Platform Copilot, AI Builder and related AI capabilities to enhance solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging and enhancements for existing Power Platform solutions.
• Document business processes, applications, designs and requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement.
