Job summary

Synchron, LLC is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support the Navy Undersea Warfare Program at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will develop and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions for knowledge management, automation, and data integration.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement systems, and deliver training while maintaining security and documentation. Telework 2–3 days weekly may be available.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in any field of study.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, and others).
• Experience: Basic knowledge of knowledge management or web-based app development.
• Technical skills: Power Fx, DAX, HTML, CSS.
• Strong problem-solving, clear communication, and teamwork.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge Management Systems: develop, implement, and maintain knowledge systems.
• Web-Based Application Development: design, develop, and update Canvas Power Apps; use Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse.
• Requirements Analysis: gather needs and translate into technical plans.
• System Integration: connect knowledge systems with other apps/databases.
• Data Management: ensure data accuracy, security, and migration/cleanup as needed.
• User Support and Training: provide support and training; troubleshoot issues.
• Documentation: create and maintain system/process documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: monitor performance and implement enhancements.

Power Platform Developer - Navy Undersea Warfare Program Support

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform Developer. In this role, you will help improve how we handle and share information related to technology transfers by developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support enterprise knowledge management, workflow automation, data integration, and business process improvement. This position supports the Director of Submarine International Programs at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge Management Systems: Help develop, implement, and maintain systems that make storing, retrieving, and sharing information easier and more effective.
• Web-Based Application Development: Work on designing, developing, and updating Canvas Power Apps to support our knowledge management needs. You will use Power Automate, Power BI, Sharepoint, and Dataverse.
• Requirements Analysis: Team up with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs for web-based solutions. Turn these needs into technical plans and designs.
• System Integration: Assist in connecting our knowledge management systems with other applications and databases to improve data flow and accessibility.
• Data Management: Help ensure our data is accurate, consistent, and secure. You will also assist with data migration and cleanup when needed.
• User Support and Training: Provide support and training to users on how to use our systems and tools. Troubleshoot and solve any issues to keep things running smoothly.
• Documentation: Create and keep up-to-date documents about our systems and processes, making sure they are clear and accessible.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor how our systems are performing and gather feedback to suggest and implement improvements.

Education and Experience

• BS/BA in any field of study.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, and others).
• Experience: Basic experience or coursework in knowledge management or web-based application development.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Power Fx, DAX, HTML, CSS.
• Good problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Education and Experience

• Related vocational or technical training.
• Knowledge Management or Database Certifications.
• Experience: Exposure to knowledge management systems, content management systems, and enterprise software solutions.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of database management and SQL.
• Cloud Solutions: Basic knowledge of cloud-based services.

Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. Telework options for 2-3 days per week.

Travel: potential for travel (less than 5%)
