Job summary

American College of Education seeks a Power Platform Developer to manage ACE’s Power BI environment, build new reporting solutions, and support data integrations across systems. You’ll design data models and reports, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with multiple teams to translate business needs into practical BI solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • ≥3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Expert in Power BI: reports, dashboards, data modeling, DAX, validation.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple systems via SQL, APIs, dataflows or connectors.
  • Experience with relational databases and Azure/Microsoft Fabric.
  • Higher education analytics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and enhances ACE’s Power BI environment, including workspaces, permissions, data refreshes, gateways, report access, and performance optimization.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI reports and dashboards to support institutional reporting and analytics.
  • Develops and enhances data models, semantic models, datasets, and reporting structures.
  • Integrates data across systems using Power Platform connectors, APIs, and dataflows.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensures data governance, quality, privacy, and security in reports and dashboards.
  • Monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes Power Platform solutions; creates and maintains documentation.
  • Builds automated workflows with Power Automate and supports Power Apps for scalable applications.
  • Provides end-user training and guidance for Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
