Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is actively seeking engineers to support database solutions, APIs, and ETL processes using Power BI, Python, and Azure Data Factory. You will help integrate external APIs, ensure data security, and develop dashboards for informed decision making.

Ideal candidates have proficiency in Power BI, data integration tools, and AI capabilities, with experience in CI/CD via Azure DevOps and frontend work in JavaScript/TypeScript and React. U.S.

Qualifications

• Core Knowledge: data science toolkit, predictions vs inference, modeling techniques.
• Business Intelligence: proficient with Power BI, complex reports & data models.
• Backend & Data Integration: Dataverse, Power Automate, Python, Azure Data Factory.
• Front-End Development: JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Nice to have).
• Data Security: Security Roles, OAuth, Entra ID connections.
• Analytics / AI: exposure to AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Help manage integrations with external APIs and data security measures under senior guidance.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards/reports using Power BI.

• Assist in applying analytics/AI functionalities using AI Builder and Azure AI services.
• Support DevOps by assisting deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.

The work:

• Support the development and maintenance of database solutions and application components based on provided designs.
• Assist with the implementation of internal APIs and ETL processes using tools like Power Automate, Python, and Azure Data Factory.
• Help manage integrations with external APIs and configure data security measures under senior guidance.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Occasionally contribute to front-end application development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

• Support the team’s DevOps process by helping to manage and execute deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Here’s what you need:

• Core Knowledge: A solid understanding of the data science toolkit, including the difference between prediction and inference, various modeling techniques, and their tradeoffs. Familiarity with generative AI concepts and their practical application.
• Business Intelligence:
• Proficient with Power BI for creating, publishing, and maintaining complex reports and data models.
• Backend & Data Integration:
• Dataverse oPower Automate oPython (for scripting and testing)
• Azure Data Factory
• Front-End Development:
• JavaScript / TypeScript (Nice to have) oReact (Nice to have)
• Data Security: oFamiliarity with concepts like Security Roles (data access), OAuth (external API), and Entra ID (tool connections).

• Experience with or exposure to AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• DevOps:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
